RAWLSON KING, Ottawa's First Black City Councillor

Details

In 2019 the people of Ottawa had the rare opportunity to witness history first-hand as we saw Rawlson King elected as the national capital's first-ever black City Councillor. Why did it take so long?

Mr King provides us with an inside look at his path to City Hall... and his continued journey during his first year in office.

Light refreshments will be served in the auditorium lobby starting at 6:30pm, with the talk to follow at 7:00pm.

All are welcome to attend without charge.
