A northern Ontario gold mine made Sir Harry Oakes one of the richest men in the world. His bizarre murder in the Bahamas in 1943 was considered the crime of the century. Charlotte Gray will follow her presentation by welcoming audience questions about her writing life as a best-selling author and historian.

This speaker series will take place via Zoom. All are welcome to attend without charge.
