Jim Burant, Author 'Ottawa Art & Artists: An Illustrated History', Adjunct Professor of Art Carleton University, Member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation


Jim Burant will lead us on an illustrated tour of Ottawa's surprising artistic past — from the art of the Anishinaabe, to the earliest sketches of Bytown, to the photography of Topley and Karsh, to the 20th-century art of Milne and Macleod, to the contemporary works of Pootoogook and Yu.

Presented in partnership with the Art Canada Institute.

This speaker series presentation will take place on Zoom. All are welcome to attend without charge.
