Also a list and description of notable buildings designed by the architects. This pamphlet includes photos of buildings and of the Bowes, and an appendix which includes obituaries and census records regarding the subject architects. Written by Elizabeth V. Krug who worked for Library and Archives Canada from 1980 to 2001, working as photo cataloguer, art and photo registrar, loans and circulation coordinator. Krug studied Museum Technology at Algonquin College, has a degree in History of Art from Carleton University, and is an Associate of the Ontario College of Art and Design.
